I speak mainly about Oracle APEX, Oracle Database, cloud and the impact of AI on application development.
The subjects have evolved over the years together with the technologies I work with — from database-centric application development and APEX architecture to cloud adoption and AI-assisted development.

In parallel with traditional APEX and application architecture topics, I started writing and speaking about generative AI in application development.
Looking back, 2023 marked the beginning of the transition toward many of the AI-assisted development questions I am exploring today.
Oracle APEX Budapest
In 2023, I helped launch the Oracle APEX Budapest community to create a local forum for developers, users and people interested in Oracle APEX.
The community has since grown into a recurring series of in-person events in Budapest.

The early meetups focused on Oracle APEX developments, application design and experiences from the international APEX community.
2023 — Coding or AI?
Generative AI became an early topic of discussion as it became clear that software development was beginning to change significantly.
2024 — APEX Trends
We discussed developments in the APEX ecosystem and lessons from Oracle CloudWorld and APEX World.
2024 — APEX AI
Artificial intelligence became the main subject of an entire meetup, including practical demonstrations.
2025 — APEX in Practice
The focus moved further toward real-world development experience and how Oracle technologies are used in actual applications.
2025 — Generative AI in APEX
We explored how generative AI can work with private data and documents and become part of enterprise application development.
2026 — APEX 26.1 and AI-Assisted Development
AI is increasingly moving from being an external assistant toward becoming part of the development environment itself.
APEXlang is one example of how this transition may change the way APEX applications are built.
Building a local Oracle APEX community
Oracle APEX Budapest currently has around 180 members, with recurring events hosted in Budapest.
For me, organizing these events is as important as presenting at them.
Community discussions provide a way to test ideas, learn how other developers approach similar problems and connect local experience with the wider international Oracle community.

Oracle ACE
I am an Oracle ACE Pro, with a focus on Oracle APEX and database development.
Being part of the Oracle community has influenced how I work as a developer as well.
Writing, presenting, organizing events and discussing ideas with other professionals all help turn individual technical experience into shared knowledge.
From Database to AI
The subjects of my talks have changed considerably over the years, but they follow the same broader journey:
